Game between seniors of the West Kentucky Conference and Southern Illinois will be Friday, June 9 at 7 p.m. at Roy Stewart Stadium at Murray State University. This is the second year for the game. Marshall County head coach Mike Lawson will coach the WKC team.

who won last year?

I remember the game being close and I remember a couple of players getting ejected. I can't remember because the game was in Illinois and I didn't make the trip.

Seems like Illinois won 9-7 or 16-7 or something like that.

I remember some players getting ejected and the Kentucky team sustained some injuries throughout the night. Blake Boyd (Madisonville signed with UL now at Western Kentucky) injured his shoulder and had to miss the Kentucky VS Tennessee All Star game the following week. There was 2 other Ky kids that left the game and were unable to return.

I know a few others from WK did not play in the game to avoid injury for the Tenn/Kentucky All Star game.

Southern Illinois won 15-9 last year.

I think I shall make the trip to Murray tonight to see this one, anyone else going?

I will be there.

So. Illinois won 33-13

So. Illinois won 33-13

That's not good.

I heard they ran back two kickoffs for touchdowns and had three interceptions in the game.

Not Good

From the roster I saw, a lot of talent from KY did not participate in this game, so that score doesn't really say much about this game.

True Gobigred alot of names I was looking for were not there but I have to give credit where credit is do, IL beat us in all phases of the game and did so without a single D-1 signee on their roster
