Cardinals started a little slow, but this game was NEVER in doubt. Defense broke down on a couple plays but otherwise was very solid.

WPSD said Bright was injured.

Bright may be out a few weeks. Glad to see Tyler getting some time at RB, but it's unfortunate it comes because of Trajon's arm/shoulder. Still wonder where a few those passes were supposed to go tonight.

Tyler stepped up big time tonight.

Good win.

There are some areas we can improve on...I'm sure they will get worked on

Shauntrez Tyler did a good job stepping up

The defense looked pretty solid most of the night

Tyler stepped up big time tonight.

I thought so too. He made several gains on his own athletic ability because there was no hole to run through...he was difficult to bring down, and he did not fumble the football. We replaced Bright with a sophomore (Tyler) and a freshman (Matthews), and both of those young men did very well...this really bodes well for our team

Tyler will eventually be fine. He's a good back that could be great. Runs low, powerful legs, quickness. With that said 2 things he has to work on. 1- protect the football. He is very fumble prone. Always has been. 2- when the play isn't there he has got to cut the ball up field and get what yds he can instead of reversing field. He's powerful enough to do that and break some tackles. On another note it was said thAt he wasn't happy about playing time and considering transferring back to GC next year. Well, here's your oppurtunity now do something with it.
