Basketball season for 2015/2016 should provide another exciting year. What should we expect from Eastern? Remember, please be constructive.

Eastern has a new 6'4 girl

Who might that be? Please don't say Kimbro

She is not 6"4' and she hasn't been attending open gym.

And Russ Smith isn't 6'0 either. Who cares about open gym she'll be at tryouts.. Kimbro is at least 6'1 or 6'2 which is alot better than having a 5'6 post player.

Who cares about open gym? I would think the coaches might? Maybe the other players? A "pecking order" starts in open gyms???

I'd take Porter anytime versus a post that is tall and no skills. She killed Sacred Heart last year.

Porter is a point guard not a post player. She's been playing out of position her whole high school career. And Kimbro has skills

Many kids play out of position in high school. So where does Mishler play if Porter is at point?

she's going to have to come off the bench

There definitely is some interesting stuff here. What about the 8th grade post player that helped Eastern in the district off the bench last year - Beach? Is she not in the mix??? There certainly has been an accumulation of talent at Eastern over the summer with the addition of Mishler and others, but it may be quite a challenge to keep everybody happy next year. Hope it works out.

If Mishler comes off the bench something is wrong.
