All things such as this will be answered on the court, practice and games. That said, I am confident that there are not five players on Eastern's roster that possess the body of work, and certainly not the skills, that Mishler has. This is why it could prove to be a challenge to coach this group. A number of teams have deep, athletic and talented groups of kids and are challenging to coach. Accumulating talent does not always equal winning, just like in AAU, but it certainly doesn't hurt. (Sorry, I just couldn't resist the AAU jab ...)[/font]

, Without a doubt. Five, you're saying there are five? Really, there are five? Dang, if there are five, then this team is THE top team in the 7th and a top 10 team in the state. Now that is great, and I hope they are, but this is a bold stretch.

Eastern is truly talented. Good coach as well..The trouble I see is that they have many kids who want to score. Will they be able to share the ball or be content to go one on one all the time? Will they play defense? will they get in shape? The 7th region requires all of those factors to be attained to win the region. Male, Sacred Heart, Manual all are really good. and all are well coached..should be interesting

Eastern also has Kinnard who is a incoming freshman that will push for a spot......

Kinnard played last year as an 8th grader.

Will they play defense? will they get in shape?

 

With a deeper bench this year... those who chose to not give it all on defense last year will hopefully come sit next to coach and watch this season...same for the out of shape players
