Jones is a monster. Just physically larger than anyone on the field. He is going to have to learn to play without getting hit as much as he did. While talented, I thought he played a lot of the game haphazardly. Plenty of that can be tied to this being only his fourth start as a college QB.

Do they really need Jones or Barrett if Zeke runs for 700 yards again against "playoff" teams?

Against Bama yes they needed Jones to be able to make those deep throws and deep intermediate throws into tight windows. Especially when Bama jumped all over them early. It took Jones making some big throws to get them back in it. Then Bama started respecting those deep throws and Zeke did his thing.

Now against Oregon it wouldn't have mattered who was at qb though. They don't get by Bama with any but Jones at qb imo. Plus you know biggest moments don't phase him. We have seen Heisman players crack under the big game lights. So we have no idea how JT would respond in that, you do know Jones responds just fine in the big moment and against top teams.

I do hope JT gets to be the starter because he is fun to watch and we could see if he can do it or not in the big moments like Jones.

Evan Spencer threw a TD pass against Alabama, OSU's 2nd WR.

We're gonna agree to disagree, but aren't you the guy on here always defending Andy Dalton as well or do I have that confused?

Good news (maybe?) is that Buckeyes can now rest until Nov 21 when they play Michigan State.

Bucks are loaded.

This pretty much sums it up here. They can be slotted for one of the Final Four slots. The ONLY thing that can derail it is a bad loss in the Big 10 title game, and that isn't going to happen. They can afford to lose a game, though they shouldn't have any game within 20 points. The only teams that can match-up with them reside in the SEC. No, that doesn't mean I think Alabama, Auburn, or whomever is better than tOSU. They at least have the depth and bodies to throw out there.

I don't get FC's fascination with Barrett. He proved he can play last year.

45 TDs last year for JT.

I will just say I hope we get to find out. Apparently urban seems to think Jones gives them the best chance too.

As for Dalton you may want to check again. All off season I been saying how I want them to move on from him.

Never once said he can't play. Shoot I even said he would probably be in the Heisman talk again if he starts all year. He is a great qb but I didnt think they would have won it all last year with him and not sure they would with him this year. He basically played one good team last year. So we don't know how he would do in big game situations against other top teams. With Jones they know he can do it under the pressure. Still don't know with Barrett. I think JT is great however if I was an OSU fan I would want to go with the guy proven he can handle the big moments. Apparently Urban agrees.

Thought though in the past you were for him. I believe OSU can legitimately win with any of their 3 QBs.

You didn't hear Urban at halftime, I think Braxton kept Cardale in the game. Braxton won the game last night.

Braxton Miller looked like Reggie Bush last night. I hate OSU, but love watching this team.

How many times will we hear "Percy Harvin" this year?

It's the b10, you're several weeks early.

It is going to be a LOT of fun for OS fans, not so much for their opponents.
