September 5, 201511 yr Heard that Luke is starting today vs Yankees at 1:00 and it's on Foxsports1. How cool is that....?
September 5, 201511 yr What if Luke had told his first grade teacher that one day he would be on the same field as ARod?
September 5, 201511 yr To show you just how tough it is to hit MLB pitching consider that Luke is known as a defensive ace with a struggling bat. One of the best hitters ever in NKY.
September 8, 201511 yr What if Luke had told his first grade teacher that one day he would be on the same field as ARod? My claim to fame. Luke and I played for the same Swan Florest team when he was in the first grade.
September 13, 201511 yr Looks like Luke got his first major league hit last night, an RBI double against the Red Sox.

September 13, 201511 yr I was talking to Luke's dad Friday and one thing I wondered is how does Luke get all of his "stuff" from Durham to Tampa when he had about an hour or so after he was called up and had to get to Baltimore? He was told to pack up everything he wanted to take(clothes, TV, computer, whatever) and put it in his truck. He was then to drive his truck to the Durham complex and leave the keys. They then just put his truck on a hauler and sent it to Tampa. I also learned that by Luke being called up even if he goes back to AAA next year he gets a big raise.
