Conner much improved and Boone looking at a possible 0-11 season.

Will Boone Co. ever get back to the program it once was?

....

Heard from a proud alum that Kyler Padgett played well tonight for the Cougs. Congrats Conner on the win, and keep fighting Rebels, find reward in the process.

I don't think so, especially not the way the Boone County schools do business.

I don't either and is why I've said no Boone Co school will ever win 6A title unless one school

has a slew of some of the best players in the state all come

from the same district.

A closed district with 4 public schools in its borders. I don't see it happening.

That's a shame.

Kyler ran 21 times for 138 yards and 2 TDs. 9/17 134 yards 3 TDs

There aren't many (and I'm struggling to come up with 1) better athletes playing QB in NKY.

Solid, not great, night for Conner. Lots of penalties. Had a stretch where the O bogged down a bit.

Boone had 64 total yards of offense. Conner front 7 dominated Boone's offensive line. Boone could throw only 2 passes - screen and the go. Neither worked very well.

I'd think that the backup QB for Boone gets some looks. Really nice arm.

Love hearing that!!! Great family too! Kyler showing Brady how it's done lol.

Kyler has been faster than Brady since....well...ever! Yes, those are two great young men!!

Boone's TD was interesting in how it came about.

Conner had 4th and about 7 to 10 yards from inside the 5. Conner deploys the rugby style punt where the punter can run for 1st down or punt. In the first quarter on the first possession Conner ran about 10 yards on this play for a first down. Didn't work on this one. Ebarb got to about the 4 and Boone took over. Scored on the first play.

I should mention that Conner has a lot of nice offensive options.

Ebarb caught two TD passes.

Buckler is a great weapon.

Matt Simpson

Tyler Arnold

Darrel Marshall had a GREAT TD reception.

Joseph Warwick

All made positive plays tonight.

Boone is looking at 0-22 until it can maybe think about getting a win by scheduling some cupcakes, and Im not sure then they will be able to beat the cupcakes.

Sounds like Conner has a nice team.

Kyle Fieger perhaps? He chooses not to run much but when he does, he is faster and better than people may realize. He had some nice runs tonight versus Lloyd. He is definitely a better passer than Padgett.
