There is too much of a risk for this to be a set up. It is truly amazing. America's Got Talent is the best talent based show to watch.

Can someone fix my typo in the title? Should be "Mentalist" and not "metalist."

I clicked here to watch some cool metallurgy. :lol2:

Pretty simple trick. I can't believe @Clyde of all people hasn't figured that one out yet.:sssh::clap::clap:

And remember he got Howard Stern to change his number.

You can see him writing the number down when that Nick guy starts to peel off the label. Around the 3:35ish mark.

Yeah, saw that too. That explains the first part of the "trick" (that Mel B was actually that close). Notice he never actually mentions the correct total in the video, only that she was off by 2. I'm guessing that the "paper" he wrote on was pressure sensitive or something. Heck the back of the actual envelope may have had a freakin' window in it. The bad thing for me, is that the producers cut to the judges pretty daggone quick when he started writing. So, they (the producers) were in on it.

As to the other part, dont' have a quick answer for that. But, obviously Nick is in on the whole thing from the start, so who knows. Maybe there was actually a miniature receipt printer inside the gumball machine. All somebody else would have to do would be to remotely enter the numbers and hit print. Then it's ready for when Nick reaches in. Just a guess.

If that were only part of the trick then I'd be there with you.

1. In order for you to believe the first part EVERYONE would have to be in on this trick. Do you think AGT would do that just for one guy who may or may not get votes from the voters?

2. Why is it obvious that Nick s"is in ont he whole thing from the start?"

Wow. You guys are way over analyzing this and missing the obvious.

The Instagram video is rendered useless by his writing the number 327. He only said she was off by 2. No matter what she would have written, he would have said she was off by 2. If she would have written 503, he would have written 501 or 505 and the Instagram video would still have been accurate.

And I want to know where you can buy 327 gumballs for $9.99.

You leave your piggy bank alone young man.

Correct but as I said it wasn't the only part of the trick. Now we have to ask how he got a receipt with all of the numbers on it.
