Like everyone else, I want to see them vs Rockcastle before I call them contenders.

 

LaRue County was just terrible and that's being nice.

I think last year's team had too many "ME" players, I think this team is more of a let's do this a "team" squad. I think we will see just how good Danville is on Friday, If they win that game and Beat Boyle the next week I will definitely put them as, D. Until then they haven't shown me nothing to be saying they are contenders!

 

I agree. They did good last week but they need to send some strong messages to be considered contenders. They have a very bright future. I think they play quite a few underclassmen.

I think they start 4 to 5 sophomores on Defense, so the future is definitely bright. They even play a freshmen on the line.

Fair enough. I'm not familiar with what Danville brings to the table this year other than speed, which is every year, so it had me a bit curious. I have no doubt that Danville will cause problems for anyone they play but I was wanting to hear it from a Danville fan.

I think Danville has 15 seniors on the roster this year, and if almost half their starting defense is sophomores they may give up a lot of points this season.

Danville looked pretty good last night. Dampier has an arsenal of receivers to throw it to. They have great team speed and I came away super impressed last night.
