As much credit as the OL gets, the 37 points dropped on the defensive unit is the bigger issue

I was under the impression that Woodford had an impressive Oline and North Bullitt had a new coach, scheme and staff and a much depleted talent pool. Who coaches the North Bullitt team? What a start to a season for that program! Wow. Whoever made that hire is a shining star for Bullitt County.

The staff at Woodford has gotten a lot of good publicity. Now the coaching begins, this is a bad loss. Lets see how all parties respond.

Woodford is fine. They too have a new coaching staff and installing new system. They have a favorable schedule that once they figure things out should be okay come end of the season.

I'm sorry but I can't agree that Woodford is fine. They will struggle this year. The talent level only decreases from here. Last night was a bad loss for them and a great win for NB. The schedule has at least 4 more losses and maybe 6 more.

Woodford has 3 D-1 guys and that's it. Even with a great offensive line if you don't have skill guys who can take advantage of it or a good defense then you will still struggle.

This is not just about what woodford county did wrong,North never quit ,they have very good skill players in James,Johnson and walls.The program needed it and these kids produced!

I may get killed for this statement but please hear me out. I think in high school football you are better off having a great skill players with an average line, over a great line and average skill players.

I will still say games are won up front in the trenches but I understand you thought process and wont argue against it too much. Just out of curiosity what offense is Woodford running. With limited skill players and huge line you would think they would be a power running team maybe the bone or something and just mash people and run straight ahead. However I have not seen them play just curious what they are doing offensively.
