Dixie got absolutely smoked by BW in the scrimmage tonight. It was live scoring and the varsity game was halted after 3 qtrs. with the Tigers up 27-6. The Wood's D was stifling and the Fieger to Slusher combination finally got it rolling. Big yards by Stringer in the beginning. I have not seen CCH yet but Dixie looked flat and out of condition. They were cramping all night.

Faeth didn't play for Dixie did he? He is a key part to the offense and missing him would explain only 6 points.

 

Not taking anything away from BW but the starting QB being out doesn't help things for Dixie.

I am not sure Faeth played. True a starting QB out hurts but the line was pushed around by a 1A team with players going both ways. I would be more concerned with the 27 points given up plus a BW TD called back. Dixie has a lot of players and I am sure they will adjust by nest week. It will be an interesting game vs CCH.....for BW as well.

Those things are concerning. We'll see how Coach Brossart and his staff make adjustments.

It sounds like CCH has a better chance at beating Dixie than Beechwood. Maybe this thread title needs to change to

Will Cov Cath have to beat Dixie to go 2 and 8
