UK Schedules Three Games With Eastern Michigan

Featured Replies

You got the last sentence right.

I fully expect UK to go bowling this year, with the 3 auto wins and year 3 of Stoops I don't see why they wouldn't.

Get to play the 2019 game in Ypislanti, Michigan. Talk about a true road game...

That's the league they should be playing in anyway.....maybe that will open some eyes
I get that UK is rebuilding and wants to go bowling. Everyone starts the year with automatic wins. Take this year for example UK has 3 wins by default, it's just when you play 3 of the worst in the country it just stands out a tad I guess. But I guess it doesn't really matter, everyone has automatic wins.

Very true, every team has at least one "tune-up" game where the other team gets a nice check for getting beat up on! Ha ha. I don't think it is a big deal to have one game like that, but I do agree that even UK has made it VERY obvious they are wanting to get up to 7 or so wins with some of these non conference games.

I don't knock Ohio State for playing the game against Hawaii, my problem would be a top 10 team playing 2-3 "cupcakes"

I was sceptical prior to the start of fall practice. But I believe they will go bowling this year as well, Stoops and Dawson have both made some glowing remarks about this year's squad.

I don't expect a night and day difference between this year's team, as most of the talent is young and will need to develop. But I do see them picking up 6-7 wins.

All valid points. Both of our teams better go take care of business and AVOID injuries vs these teams.

In 08 the Liberty Bowl year we bought wins vs Norfolk State, MTSU (we only won by 7 btw) and WKU (the WKU that just entered the FBS). It's just a part of having a brutal SEC schedule. The rest of the SEC does the same thing.
