A strong balance would be ideal, was just questioning because I have heard that Coach Engler is a BIG FAN of throwing the ball and wanted to see if that would limit England in any way. It is good to hear that he is healthy, and I hope that remains the case all season for him. He is a good kid and a hard worker, as well as an amazing talent. Thanks for the info FTN!

I am not familiar with this years WR, do they have height and good hands? Height is definitely a plus! If not, the running game will be the success this year!

Does the Beagle kid still play for Ryle and if so, what position does he play? Also, am I correct that a younger Beagle went to CovCath?

Yes, Grant Beagle is still a Raider. Senior WR.

Little brother Logan is at CovCath. Sophomore.

Unfortunately, injury seems to haunt this young man.

Sophomore season was dehydration issues, not injury. Some kids sweat and some pour. He pours. Gatorade makes an additive called endurance for cramp prone athletes. You put a pack in a bottle of Gatorade and it's quadruples the potency. Not expensive and it works. Highly recommend it for anybody that sweats so much they have trouble staying hydrated.

Todays Gatorade is nothing like it was originally, it is basically kool-aid now. I am an electrical lineman, so a lot of the day working on the powerlines, lineman have on pants, long sleeve shirts, thick rubber gloves that go up to your elbow, and thick rubber sleeves that go from your wrist to over your shoulder. The first time I went to Florida/SC to work after a hurricane, I was told by the Florida lineman who work in it everyday, to mix Gatorade and water 50/50 ratio. It was a great tip and really helped us to stay hydrated and functional through the heat and humidity, working 16 hours a day for 14 straight days.

Public Service Announcement:

Good advise, many think just drinking sports drinks will stop you from getting dehydrated, when, in fact, drinking it, exclusively, will cause dehydration. Sports drinks do a good job of replacing electrolytes, such a good job that the body thinks there are too many electrolytes and attempts to eliminate the excess though urination.

I can't stress how important it is to drink two classes of water for every one sports drink. The water will help keep the body hydrated, and the sports drink will replace electrolytes that are lost though sweat. Also, it is too late to hydrate when arriving for an event, hydration has to begin the night before. Most people, and athletes, show up for work, or sporting events, already dehydrated.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled football discussion.

Pickle juice is also effective for cramps

Pickle juice will stop cramps but at that point you are really behind on hydration. Changing clothes at halftime works wonders also. Let's the wick effect cool the body down so less expenditure of fluid. 22 Ounce of water for every hour of exercise is the norm. Some need more. Muscle milk is loaded with potassium also. Faster than digesting a banana. That's all the tips I got...
