England is a player that all teams have to account for. Gang tackle or pay the price. If you assume one guy is bringing him down then you're sadly mistaken.

Bryan Station has some big boys over 300 pounds on their D-line and O-line.

Bryan Stations MLB is 5'10 225 should be a good match up.

That's two years ago when he was a sophomore at 200 lbs. He's a senior now, about 6'1" & 223 lbs.

You sure he is not 224...

England is going to be a man for Ryle this year. He will be THE man for Ryle. The problem I could see is that he will not get enough touches. Now that the new QB is at Ryle, and knowing Engler likes to sling the ball around the field, is there any chance that England doesn't get as many touches? Anyone in the Ryle circle know anything on this topic? I am just asking, no inside knowledge.

Another area of concern is his health. Every since his Sophomore season England has battled the injury bug. Is he staying fairly healthy during camp?

We are counting on the fact that the passing an running game will keep defenses from playing so many in the box, hence his touches even though reduced will be more productive. He had a groin pull that was aggregated and reaggrevated all last year. He seems to be healthy and stronger than in years past.

A strong balance would be ideal, was just questioning because I have heard that Coach Engler is a BIG FAN of throwing the ball and wanted to see if that would limit England in any way. It is good to hear that he is healthy, and I hope that remains the case all season for him. He is a good kid and a hard worker, as well as an amazing talent. Thanks for the info FTN!

I am not sure what format this scrimmage will be but I am going to judge it on first team vs first team. I think at this point considering the timing of the scrimmage and the match ups if give the slight edge to Bryan Station. Athletically one of the more gifted teams in the secondary that you can find in the state. I'm going with the Defenders in a 4-10 point win.

I think Station wins easy.

I think Station wins easy.

Shocker

Bryan station has one of the quickest and mose elusive Qb's in the state. He is a tough kid to catch. I was really impressed with him last year. I still think we will fare well against them this year. If they have a good secondary it will be a good test for our passing game. Play better, get better.

That should help Ryle's new QB get valuable reps against tough competition. Good scheduling.

Engler knows his stuff. Placing Station on the scrimmage list will only help their QB. On defense alone, Station will have a couple division 1 kids playing this Friday.

Unfortunately, injury seems to haunt this young man.
