Night Ranger Concert UC Health Stadium

Saturday Sept. 19th at UC Health Stadium aka Florence Freedom.....with special guest Dennis DeYoung of Styx. This will be the 9th or 10th time I seen Night Ranger, they are just as good as they were 32 years ago when I saw them for the 1st time.

They sound good. I'm not sure why I have never heard of them before.

Now this is the kind of heads-up I tune in to BGP for.:ylsuper:

I've seen both. Both are still very good.

He keeps a flowing blonde wig for special occasions.

Kind of funny since I heard Sister Christian today. I immediately thought about BGP. Someone posted a thread on here a few years back about seeing them live. May have been after a Freedom games.

Anyone else going?

Wait....you don't want to see "Straight Out of Compton", but you'll sit outside in September to see Night Ranger for the 10th time? How many times do you need to hear "Sister Christian" in live action?

To answer your apparently serious question, no, I, for one, will not be in attendance. :bunny:

You've never heard of Night Ranger before? That is actually more surprising to me than an adult that I like and respect choosing to see them 10x in person.

I agree with MTGL on many a thing, but this post has me puzzled.

What's wrong with sitting outside in September? It might be the best month of the year to sit outside.

Other than sharing a decade, what do Night Ranger and NWA have in common? There's a place for both mind you, but I can't imagine a trajectory anywhere in the universe where their planes would intersect.

Are tickets free? Is it Dollar beer night? I'll consider it.

I have seen them and I actually find it sad that these old rockers go on tour to perform in small arenas or city functions.

And if tickets are not free, I do NOT want you attending. Since you never carry cash and you don't use credit cards, I need you saving up for that $100 you are going to owe me!

A) Nothing wrong with sitting outside in September, per se, it just happened to be the locale of said concert so I had to interject it with passion.

B) They have nothing in common, however, he is the only person I've heard say they didn't want to see the movie, and he is the only person that I know that will see / is excited by Night Ranger at Freedom Field, therefore, that was what they had in common.

that was me....http://bluegrasspreps.com/television-films-music/night-ranger-30-a-261116.html

I used to like Night Ranger a lot and I have a couple of their albums on cassette and vinyl. Still can sing along with the songs, because they had some good pop songs.

But after seeing "Boogie Nights," I now have a hard time keeping from busting out laughing every time I hear "Sister Christian."
