"The Walking Dead" Season 6

We've handled people like them before. How? They're dead.

Awesome line, but I feel like our friend Rick is making a classic mistake by not respecting the enemy.

I feel like they are setting up Maggie to be killed Negan. They started to play up the pregnancy in the last episode and they've teased Glenn being killed multiple times. It would be a hard emotional blow to see her get whacked while she is with child. Based off what we've read about the final episode of the season we know it is going to be emotional.

My money is on Maggie getting Lucille

Wouldn't that be a major change from the comic books? @Randy Parker?

Yes. Highlight the text below for spoiler:

Glenn gets brutally, and I mean brutally, killed by Negan in Issue #100 of the comics.

What I've noticed about the comics vs. the show is that the show often has the same events happen, except to different people.

Hershel loses a leg in the show after being bitten, but that happens to Dale in the comics.

Bob gets his leg eaten by the cannibals in the show, but that happened also to Dale in the comics.

Having said that, since the group arrived in Alexandria, a lot of the show/comic book stuff has been the same (Carl's eye, for example).

And then some of the comic book stuff is totally different. Like Andrea is still alive (Rick's love interest), as is Sophia.

What the comic book does, in my opinion, is it serves as a template for the TV show. Most of the characters, settings, & general theme of the story are the same in both. But the specifics often fluctuate from one to the other.

^Correct, but didn't that happen well before now in the comics?

If you're talking about the spoiler I mentioned, no. The issue in which that event takes place is also the same issue where we first meet Negan. He's talked about before, but we don't meet him until that memorable event.

Right now, the television show's story matches up at around issue 95 of the comics.

And just to give an idea of where the comic book world is, issue #152 comes out tomorrow.

If my math is right, each season of TWD TV series covers about 16 comic book issues (Season 6 will match up with Issue #100 of the comic book; 100 divided by 6 is 16.7).

That's an interesting theory and makes a lot of sense.

I still think a key male character will die by season's end. My money is on Morgan or Daryl. Morgan because black guys always die in the TWD show, plus I think actor Lennie James has a lot of other things going on. Daryl because he has his own show getting ready to air on AMC.

^So, bottom line is I'm married to this motherscratcher for the foreseeable future.

Yet when I post stuff I get the spoiler grouches attacking me lol.

It's not going to be Maggie in my opinion, she seems to escape death. Although, Negan will just spin the wheel on who he kills, no method to that psychos madness.

The end of Season 6 death is something that has been mentioned on here a lot, so I don't feel bad speculating on it. And who knows if there even will be a death.

But I think a male has to die soon because there are too many cooks in the kitchen in terms of males IMO.

You mean Daryl?

Motherscratcher :lol2:

Should have killed Gregory.

The actor playing him did a good job at making him come across as a weasel.

Oh yeah I bet someone is going, it will be tough but great for the show. They want Negan to be hateddd.

When they first showed The Hilltop on Sunday, I thought it was spot-on in terms of how it looked in the comics:
