I believe the Travelers won 17U and 16U at KBA.

You are correct Wireman and Lexington Future defeated Attucks Wolfpack to win the 15U. Just a few of the coaches I noticed in attendance were:

Ball State

Miami (OH)

WKU

Lipscomb

NKU

EKU

Bellarmine

Transylvania

Kentucky Wesleyan

There were several more as well.

Considering this is the first year of this event and that the original date was changed one month prior due to unforeseen conflicts, I would say this was a successful event. From what I have been told by KBA, there are many teams in the Midwest who have already shown interest in competing in The Summit next year.... All in all KBA did a great job, and it is always a positive when someone takes the time to provide more opportunities for our kids. Thanks KBA!!

Travelers have a very tough draw for Super Showcase. King James All Stars and Atlanta XPress are two big name programs. Should be good games in Louisville this week.

How did CVH do this weekend?

How did CVH do this weekend?

Same Cole, he is so prepared mentally and physically. He averaged over 20 ppg and whenever a big basket was required, he delivered. He was named the 16U MVP of the tournament. The more you watch him, the bigger the fan you become.

True story...in one game a fan started to hype his team up and whomever Cole was guarding he shouted "he can't guard you" and when Cole had the ball he was shouting something to the effect of "he ain't seen defense like this". It was borderline a bit obnoxious, but he was poking the bear and you could see it really starting to get on CVH's nerve because he was so loud and over the top. 5 minutes later CVH had dropped about 15 points and the guy was quiet the rest of the game. Don't poke the bear.

Correct. Travelers 16U defeated Kentucky Hoopsters 81-67 and Travelers 17U beat 606 Tropics 89-65.

15U- Lexington Future was down by 17 to Attucks Wolfpack early in the 2nd half, but it came back to win the championship, 71-68 in OT.

Does anyone have any updates on how the KY teams and players are doing this week?

This is interesting. I would have guessed that the Tarheels were the stronger team. Good luck to both of them.
