June 26, 201511 yr I haven't read thru this past the first page, and I'm not going to. I'll start by saying it's no big deal to me what he said. I would love to here how this conversation would go if Mitch McConnel had said it "in context"

I would love to here how this conversation would go if Mitch McConnel had said it "in context" Howard Stern does it all of the time. However, Howard Stern has way more street cred than Mitch McConnell so I doubt Mitch could get away with it in any context.

Apples and oranges. Howard Stern is a huge liberal, and not a politician. He gets paid to say inappropriate things. Let me change that from Mitch to any conservative.

It still depends on who the person is and their stree cred. Hillary Clinton wouldn't be able to get away with using it in that context. I bet Bill would though.

I'll disagree slightly with my man. I'd let Sen McConnell say it the exact same way as the President did. If he is not saying it with the intent of demeaning one or hurting one then he, too, gets a pass.
June 27, 201511 yr I remembered the niggardly controversy focusing on someone else, not Limbaugh. A google search brought this up: White Washington DC Staffer Let Go for Using 'Niggardly'!

I was speaking about the general public and not myself. Obama is barely getting a pass. In this day and age I doubt many white people would get that same luxury from the general public.
