That was perhaps the dumbest article I've ever read on the Internet... and that's obviously saying something. Can't believe I even bothered clicking it.

He said the word in context, during an interview on one of the internet's most popular podcasts. Marc Maron, a "Fringe gadfly"... how disconnected from reality is the guy who wrote this?

Used it in context.

Doesn't bother me a bit.

So he had to say the whole word and not say the N word.

What or who gives him the right to utter it even if in contex.

Maybe I can just go around saying it in context then.

No he's quite obviously a hack who writes a hack blog for a hack news network. But he's getting paid to generate clicks and it worked on the three of us at least so... good on him.

No more a hack than those idiots on MSNBC or the show Obama showed his ignorance. Hell Obama has a white mom so he ain't a true black so why he is using the word

I've never heard of this guy either, I'd be willing to bet a lot of the country could be called disconnected if knowing who this or any podcaster was what it took to be connected.

We agree on MSNBC. They're awful.

Maron, on the other hand, is funny enough. I stopped listening to his show more than a year ago, but he's a good interviewer and has been in the comedy business a long time. He's a lot of things, but he isn't a hack.

I don't expect anyone over a certain age to have any idea of who Maron is at all. I can tell you he's got a sizable audience and the reason the president likely did the show at all is that I'm willing to bet his overall audience probably skews in favor of Obama's policies.

On the other hand.

The guy who wrote the article - well, if there's anyone out there who sleeps in South Carolina flag bedsheets, I'd lay even money it's him.

I don't know anything about him. I only know what I read in that one article: sensationalist drivel.

I'd rather read YouTube comments than sit through anything like that again.
