Congratulations to many of the boys who played with FastBreak through the years. Several of these players will continue their careers playing college basketball on scholarship. N.Ky.FastBreak, which started up as a team when the boys were 10 years old, have won many tournament championships. For 4 years straight, in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001 the team won the Ky. AAU State championship. Included in that run, was a 7th place finish in the Nationals. In 2002 and 2003 the team went seperate ways, but in 2004 most of the team came back as sophmores (16 yr olds) and won the Ky. AAU State Basketball Tournament once again. Last year, in 2005 the team was knocked out by the N.Ky. Tarheels in overtime. Hopefully these players will have the same kind of success with their new teams on the collegiate level.

I remember a lot of good games with the Fastbreak, usually on the short end of the score, but they were always a well coached bunch who played hard

Asst Coach Eddie Dryer is still doing a lot of recruiting for Mt St. Joe's. I know he has been talking to numerous local talents. He might also be a replacement for Coach Cox.

I believe it is son of Larry Rose...very good Ballplayer way back ....coached baseball at Dayton for many years...I think Brian played with them back in grade school/middle school....current SR at HHS.
