UK's Next Bud Dupree?

The 2016 class is going to turn out great!! Exciting times in Lexington. UK will compete for SEC Championships over the next 3-4 years.

I love UK but as long as Tennessee recruits at the level they are, and UGA always being UGA, UF probably will be back, I don't think Uk will ever really be competing for an SEC Champioship. They may be close some years but they'll always be a win or 2 off in their best years. I'm hoping they can consistently stay at the 7 win mark and have seasons where they over achieve and get 8-10 wins.

UK needs to get to a bowl first though

I hear ya loud and clear. The reason I feel the way I do is the offensive line they are putting together for the future. The line will be really good in a few years and when you can push up front, you can win games in this league. Drake Jackson and Landon Young are super solid commits who will get others to come and keep this class solid. I also think they will pull in Kash Daniel. The new facilities are now becoming more than blueprints and will go a long way when recruits visit. Like I said, exciting times in Lexington with the commitment the university is making in the football program.

Pickerington is awfully close to Columbus.

It will be a battle to keep him. But I'm glad he committed early. UK's commits have hardly flip if they commit a whole year before they sign. I believe a lot of kids last year committed over the summer then flipped.
