Bert
Can Bernie Sanders play the spoiler role for Hillary like Ross Perot did for George H.W. Bush? My guess is Sanders will not last long enough to make a difference.
75center
No Dem can raise the money needed to stay in against her until the end.
All Tell
There are still way to many Hillary lovers to get to worked about this. For them she could eat a small child on national TV (she wouldn't answer questions about it though) and they would still vote for her. My guess is Sanders will not last long enough to make a difference. I see no roadblocks within the Democratic Party that could trip up Mrs. Clinton. Rubio might be the GOP candidate who could give her the biggest scare next year, but I don't see him winning the nomination. One area not generating a whole lot of buzz that could prove challenging for Mrs. Clinton down the road is the state of her health.
UKMustangFan
^I think you actually bring up a good point. The 3 names in the Democratic Party that we hear the most talk about regarding the Presidency are Clinton (will be 69 come November '16), VP Biden (will be 74 come November '16), and Sanders (will be 75 come November '16). Health is a very distinct possibility to be a major factor for all three.
Bert
Rubio might be the GOP candidate who could give her the biggest scare next year. What is it about Rubio that gives him an edge over the other dozen or whatever it is now? The Hispanic vote? I am trying to think of something else but nothing coming to me. One area not generating a whole lot of buzz that could prove challenging for Mrs. Clinton down the road is the state of her health. Did she have a health issue recently or just referring to her age? Bernie Sanders is one of the candidates most likely to run on a 3rd party platform. If that happens ........

75center
BUT, She is more popular than any other politician. It's time for the media to admit that Hillary Clinton is popular - Vox That would make sense that she is the most popular and the most unpopular since she is the best known. Twotoplace
Bernie Sanders is one of the candidates most likely to run on a 3rd party platform. If that happens ........ Sounds like wishful thinking on your part ... for another Nader-Gore scenario. In fact, Sanders has stated the opposite ... that he won't run as a third-party candidate and will support the Democratic nominee should he not win the nomination. He said the following in January of this year: "No matter what I do, I will not be a spoiler. I will not play that role in helping to elect some right-wing Republican as President of the United States."

Bluegrasscard
Her likeability problem is going to be a problem. Most people - regardless of party - do not really 'like' her....or trust her apparently. Poll: 57 percent say Hillary Clinton is not trustworthy - Hawaii News Now - KGMB and KHNL (CNN) – A new poll reveals that more people have an unfavorable view of Hillary Clinton now than at any time since 2001. The CNN/ORC poll says 57 percent of those surveyed found Clinton to not be honest or trustworthy, up from 49 percent in March. Will the Democratic machinery hold their nose for a year - until next years primary? She will take lots hits - most deserved, some maybe less - over the next year by declared candidates in both parties.
