Agreed. I also think that with 8 or 9 actual candidates the bigger story is how updside the conservative side of the ledger is.....I'm pained by the lack of viable candidates and fearful that a Ross Perot situation is upon us...leaving the door wide open for Bill's wife of legal status

I'm in favor of a GOP "WWE style" Battle Royale to get it down to about 2-3 candidates.

Santorum knows he's not going to win. He just wants a national forum to espouse his brand of Republicanism ... assuming he'll be in the top 10 to qualify for the first Fox News GOP primary debate.
