The list could go on and on of players deserving to be on list.

No doubt... A lot of good players around here. There will be more names released soon for All-Conference, All-Area, etc. I'm sure.

I wonder if winning POY will spark Ramey to re-open his recruiting? Georgetown is a great school and a good baseball program... But since they're NAIA, I believe he's still eligible to sign with an NCAA school if he gets a better offer... No idea what he has on the table from Georgetown, so regardless, his current offer may be too good to pass on.

Congrats to Todd! Very fun player to watch and really dedicated himself to his craft!

It may be a good idea, unless like you say, his current offer may be too good to pass on.

Why NKU doesn't look at Todd is beyond me?

Agreed... And they might yet... Signed last year's POY...

Last year's POY was verbally committed before the season and besides the big bat, he was one of the toughest pitchers in the region. Ramey is a very nice hitter, but no where the complete player like Ganns.

Did NKU initially recruit Trey as a pitcher?

From what I heard last year, Yes, but his bat got him more playing time this season it seems.

Did NKU recruit any local kid this year? I'd of thought Rameys bat alone would got him some interest before the season even started. I wonder if his GTown commitment shut the door on NKU for some reason.

His Georgetown commitment certainly shuts the door to any other NAIA schools, but NCAA or JUCO should still be able to pursue him if they're interested.

I knew very little

about him going into last season and became a huge fan the very first time I saw him when Cooper played Highlands to start the year last year

Been a a huge fan ever since. Will be there tonight to watch him again.

Congrats to #44 ! Well deserved! Now bring home that title tonight! Go Birds!
