Quinn Givhan is also part of the Cardinals coaching staff as well is what Ive been hearing. He coached previously at LCA and Boyle County. He played for the Rebels during Chuck Smith's Tenure as the Rebels Coach. He's a great dude on and off the field.

Good to hear! I have met Quinn Givhan several times over the years and I can vouch that he is a great person. I'm assuming he is a running backs coach?

I believe that Channing Fugate is the RB coach. He is a former LB from UT from 2010-2012 and FB from EKU for 2014.

I heard that the freshmen defeated the JV in a scrimmage. Part of the reason for this is that many of the players in the sophomore class for whatever reason no longer play football.

 

I do know that the 8th grade and 9th grade teams have some terrific talent on their teams though.

I was thinking about becoming our football reporter for this site.

 

Did anybody else want to report for GRC? If so, I will allow you to do it since I am new. If not, then I would be glad to write articles for the football games.
