The website is operational all year long. It is the responsibility of each coach to maintain the rosters, schedules, and all information pertaining to that coach's team. Information such as scrimmage times, dates, and locations are just one example of what should be placed on the website.

 

The only thing listed for the football program is the varsity schedule.

I have heard that there will be multiple teams at Frankfort High School for Friday night's scrimmages. I believe that the games begin at 6PM.

I do not have a full report, but the Cardinals looked impressive both offensively and defensively. There were some lapses along the way, but there were many more bright spots for the Cardinals. They played on a shortened and more narrow field than the regular 120 yards by 53 1/3 yards so it was hard to gauge certain aspects of a team's strengths and weaknesses.

Praying for a full recovery for Jacob. Who were some key players for GRC. Who was the QB?

 

It was tough to identify the players because they had different numbered jerseys on for the scrimmage. The running game looked good with Josiah Israel making some good plays. The experienced front line made some good holes against some nice sized defenders. There were several passing TD's, but there is also much to improve in the short passing attack. Also, there were too many dropped passes. The front 7 played well on defense as they swarmed to the ball. The secondary had some coverage lapses, but it was just a scrimmage and that is why you have them.

 

The Cardinals used 3 different QBs during the scrimmage. Pierce Nisbet is a sophomore. He started at QB. Owen Irvin is a senior. He is the varsity backup. Irvin also starts as a wide-out on offense. Brooks Denham is the JV QB. He is a sophomore.
