All that is being accomplished is bad. I woul like to think MLK would be ashamed of what is happening with what has become from his civil rights protest, as well as I'm ashamed of the continued pathetic acts by some of the police that call themselves professionals.

I don't hate Obama, but I do think he is a weak president that has done very little for race relations and, frankly, for the office itself. As for the protesting, not only is it OK, it is downright necessary in some instances. But the looters? Arrest them all, regardless of race, creed, or national origin.

The best video I saw today was a mom kicking her sons butt on national TV lol. She caught her 15 year old son rioting and looting so she kicked his butt in the middle

of the street. It was awesome.

For the record I fully understand the need for better race relations in this country. But I believe it has less to do with color of skin and more to do with economic stature. I hate that in our country a white or black officer can shoot a white man and it doesn't make the news (and when it does the officer is referred to as non-white, LOL). Or a white officer can kill a white man. Still nothing. You can even take cops out of the equation: A black man can kill a black man or a white man can kill a white man or a black man can kill a white man and again, very little coverage. But if a white man kills a black man then wire up the speakers for Sharpton and 2X. I know a couple of African Americans who (quietly) are a little embarrassed by this themselves.

No I'm not foolish to think that. As a matter of fact I think he would believe what I do about this. MLK was a leader of non violent protest that he learned from Ghandi. I have to believe that everything I have ever studied about MLK that he would be ashamed with how the black youth are robbing, looting, and destroying things all in the name of protest. MLK, unlike the other black leaders we have to hear was a great man.

Now if you know something I don't please enlighten me on how MLK promoted and relished in violence. Hell even Fred Hampton was a better leader than the bozos out there today.

I can understand that too and agree with that. The problem is when you have the city's own mayor promoting the violence.
