Duke ... winningest coach ever, talent loaded The only way it could have been better would have been if they also beat Kansas along the way. April 5, 201511 yr Best I can remember in terms of defeating storied programs was Maryland in 2002. Defeated 4 previous national champions in succession - Kentucky, Connecticut, Kansas and Indiana. Wisconsin's run certainly is comparable.
April 5, 201511 yr They've beat the highest available seed five games in a row. Duke is a 1-seed but technically Villanova would have been the highest available seed in the final, although nobody believed that. This is a terrific run by Wisconsin.

April 5, 201511 yr Kansas. I still think that Kansas team was right there with Duke '99 as the best since UNLV '91 not to win the title. People forget how good they were since they exited in the Sweet 16.
