March 30, 201511 yr She was holding a shotgun which he tried to take away from her. The gun went off and she was shot in the chest? Just doesn't pass the smell test for me. Gun went off, Mason caller tells 911 Audio of 911 call is in the link. Mason police are investigating after a 56-year-old woman was found dead at a home on Mackenzie Court. Police originally responded to reports of a shooting around 6:45 a.m. in the 4200 block of Mackenzie Court, officials said. The death is considered "questionable" and an investigation is underway, Sgt. Craig Kline of the Mason Police Department said. An unidentified man was taken to the police station and is being questioned. The woman's husband called 911 around 6:45 a.m. Monday and told emergency dispatchers that he needed an ambulance because his wife had been shot. "I was getting ready for work and I came in and she was standing there with the gun," the man, who identified himself as Tim Sparks, told dispatchers. "I said, 'what are you doing?' " he told dispatchers. The man then told dispatchers that he tried to take the shotgun away from her and the gun went off. He didn't know who pulled the trigger, he says in the 911 call. "She had the gun," Sparks said. "I tried to take it away from her. I have no idea." Sparks told dispatchers that the woman was shot in the chest and was bleeding a lot. Dispatchers remained on the line with Sparks for around 7 minutes. Dispatchers walked him through how to place a towel on the gunshot wound, how to check if his wife was breathing and how to perform CPR. At the beginning of the call, Sparks said his wife was still breathing, but later he couldn't see her chest moving. "Can you feel a pulse?" the dispatcher asked. "I don't feel anything," the man said. Minutes later, he's heard saying, "Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. Come on baby. Look at me baby." The call ends just after police are heard arriving. The home is owned by Timothy and Susan Sparks, according to the Warren County Auditor's Office. They purchased the home in 2000 for $642,249, according to property records. Mackenzie Court is right of Butler Warren Road. A sign outside the community read "Pinehurst at the Heritage Club." Police remained at the home until 11 a.m. or later Monday morning investigating. The Enquirer will update this story.
March 30, 201511 yr Author The length of a shotgun makes his story improbable. That's what I was thinking!
March 30, 201511 yr Author I know where I've heard that name now. There is always a Kerry Chevrolet commercial on the radio and Tim Sparks is the GM there. I wonder if it's the same Tim Sparks?!
March 30, 201511 yr The length of a shotgun makes his story improbable. Unless it is a youth stock. Rossi makes an inexpensive, single shot shotgun that if, and I say if, a person was pointing it at you and you grabbed the barrel in attempt to push it back away from you, it could turn and the person holding it could still pull the trigger as it was being turned.... I would agree that it is improbable. A $600k mortgage can cause a lot of improbable things to happen in one's life
March 30, 201511 yr Author Ok, using my FB creeping skills, I'm going to out on a limb and say I am right! I found a Tim Sparks who lives in Mason and has a wife named Susan that is the GM for Kerry.

March 30, 201511 yr Author Ok' date=' using my FB creeping skills, I'm going to out on a limb and say I am right! I found a Tim Sparks who lives in Mason and has a wife named Susan that is the GM for Kerry.[/quote'] Typed this wrong. He has a wife named Susan and HE is the GM for Kerry.
March 31, 201511 yr I say much more to come from this story. Need to check life insurance policies and his personal financial situation. My prediction is the detectives uncover something he "forgot" to cover and they nail him. Just a hunch.
