While I love the enthusiasm you have don't get to excited yet. I expect Ryle to be a very good football team this year but don't set your expectations so high when they are only in Spring Football. There is only one way that will end for you and it is very badly. You will be heart broken. I am all about being excited for your team, as I am as well, but stay realistic and let them improve through the summer. It is only Coach Engler's second year as head coach. They are still working out some kinks right now!

 

Just saying that this is the best GROUP of athletes in total that I've seen in a while. Maybe because of the amount of juniors and seniors combined is a lot of older seasoned kids on the squad. Like I said I've only sat in on one practice. Not over the top excited as things are not well oiled yet. But the overall team size and speed with a ton of athleticism is there. Can't wait to see what the coaches can do with this group. Expectation should be high. After all it shouldn't be hard to top a 5 win season with this group in Englers second year.

I was talking Raider football with a Ryle parent and they said there is a "competition" going on for the position and that both boys look great.

 

They definitely have two good athletes competing, so best of luck to both.

I'm not worried. I just thought Fear new everything that was going on with Ryle football but apparently not.

He will be one of the top QBs in the state.

I do agree. It's a big step up. I just think he has the tools to do well at any level in KY. I think there are some well paid coaches who would back that up.

That's a load. Morgan will win because he's a better QB, has a D1 offer, had thrown for 4800 plus yards and 56 TD's already. No politics, just better. Keep the daddy ball comments to yourself. That's a jab at Englers character which is uncalled for. I have found his judgment to be on point and honest.

I just don't think daddy ball is a real thing in 99% of cases. It seems to be the complaint of the kid that doent start. I think coaches are fair and put the best players on the field.
