Didn't Ryle start some Sophomores last year?

^ This is the first year they aren't playing a weak schedule. They have done well in district but out of district were to many gimmes and I don't think they recover from graduation. I was not overly impressed at our game last year and seen that they were way over hyped. We were young but not this year. Boone almost put one on them. Great teams don't play that way. Mediocre or good teams do. They are not great as advertised. Defense will be their achilles heel this year.

 

I guess I should remind you SKs defense had six sacks agianst Ryle last year! Ryle graduated most of those linemen so good luck buddy!

Best players should start regardless of grade level. That would be my policy if I was a football coach. I wouldn't have a "we're a big school so you have to be a senior to start" rule.

Graduated those players? Deaton, Hicks, Marksberry, Gowen and Carter are gone but SK returns 20 players that got playing time on defense last year.
