Just scheduling them isn't going to help you beat them. Without the right horses, it doesn't matter who you schedule....you have to have the talent to beat the big boys. The toughest schedule in the world won't get you the wins without talent.

It's directed at the belief of many that scheduling a super tough schedule in some way guarantees that you'll have post season success. Post season success is more related to how much talent you have rather than who you schedule. SK has had plenty of talent, as is evident by the success they've had and the number of players that have gone on to the next level. They just haven't had as much talent as the teams that have been winning and competing for state titles. Putting those teams on the schedule doesn't change that.

fan, but unlike you I have not an ounce of bias in my body when it comes to evaluating teams. You on the other hand have never ever posted anything close to anything but extreme prejudice.

 

Again I will be sitting comfortably with a grin on my face after SK once again gets embarrassed in the post season along yet again another early exit.

Early exit? Early exit would be losing in the first round. SK has been in the playoffs and made it to the 3rd round 3 years in a row. Out of all the teams in NKY 6A they have won the most playoff games since 2006.

2 years ago SK beat Dixie twice. Cooper did great playing little 5A ball. Cooper will get knocked out of the first round this year and probably have another losing season. I guess they could call their season a succes if they can score on SK this year.
