March 19, 201511 yr ... If unimpressive Xavier would have lost this game there would already be a thread, and about 25 posts. Color me shocked (not at all). :whistling:
March 20, 201511 yr Complete domination by X. And then some..............Had Andy feeling right at home.
March 20, 201511 yr Never a doubt about who was winning this one. No doubt at all.................but there were a couple 3 seeds from the Big 12 that wished they were playing Ole Miss..........
March 20, 201511 yr Ole miss was spent physically and even rested had no one that could've stopped the big guy.
March 20, 201511 yr I had a good feeling that X would win. I was glad to see them beat BYU. Stainbrook played great basketball, his highest vertical occurrence when Bluiett made the spin move. Ga. State is next in line.
March 20, 201511 yr Very impressive game by the Musketeers. I figured they were going to win, but not as big as they did.

March 20, 201511 yr Finish late in Dayton then fly to Florida only 1 day rest tough to overcome. Ole Miss got to their motel at 4am Tuesday night.
March 20, 201511 yr Stainbrook sure proved me wrong in this one. X looked VERY good IMO. Hopefully they can keep it up Saturday and beyond.
March 20, 201511 yr Author Finish late in Dayton then fly to Florida only 1 day rest tough to overcome. You guys are hilarious. Thankfully the coach, the players, and the beat writers all chose the approach that they weren't tired at all and fatigue had nothing to do with it. History also shows that First Four winners do very well in the next two rounds of the tourney, but whatever, ignore that to support your narrative. That is a much better approach than just saying Xavier was better and they were seeded 20 points higher on the S-curve than Ole Miss for a reason. Here is a guy who follows the team closely for the "Clarion Ledger" with his thoughts on the game. Kellenberger: Alley-oop illustrates a Rebel weakness
