March 19, 201511 yr White Castle best drive through, The Bird Nest best Kahlua and Cream special south of the river
March 20, 201511 yr I know I'm nowhere near anyone but: Laslie's in McDaniels had the best county ham biscuits. Powers Express in Cloverpop has a killer steak biscuit and kick butt fried chicken. Citgo near the prison near Tell City, IN has awesome potato wedges. ....just in case you find yourself lost in those areas someday.

I am always a fan of Road Recommendations and travel through the region with some frequency...these are now on my list. Thank you
March 20, 201511 yr White Castle is by far my favorite, but I honestly don't mind McDonalds as a back up. For whatever reason I cannot stand Dunkin Donuts, but I know a ton of people who love it. It seems bitter to me.

Hey I've been to McDaniels to take my kids to play ball...Bethel Christian school. And we play a holiday tournament near Tell City in Cannelton. Have to say, though, I don't think I have been to Cloverpop.
March 20, 201511 yr My current favorite coffee is Sonic, not sure how to describe it but it's just different.
March 20, 201511 yr Have TAC make you a cup. His is more like an ice cream float by the time he gets done with it.:lol2: My go to road coffee is a large iced vanilla coffee from McD's.
March 20, 201511 yr If Starbucks is included then it's theirs. If not I don't really have one. I've never had convenient store coffee that was worth a poop. McDonalds is ok at best.

Have to say, though, I don't think I have been to Cloverpop. Let me know when you're back this way! We could meet up! Yeah..Cloverport..not pop. LOL And Bethel...people around here think that's a cult community. It's weird, the things people around here come up with.

I was gonna say I knew where Cloverport was and been through there...but heck there's probably a Cloverpop somewhere too.:lol2: Bethel a Cult? haha, I have to say that's a new one.
March 20, 201511 yr My go to road coffee is a large iced vanilla coffee from McD's. I take the McD's large sugar free vanilla iced coffee as my go to drink!! Dunkin Donuts has a solid iced coffee as well
March 20, 201511 yr C-store variety for me is whether they offer a house blend, roast ( plenty burnt anyway ), or columbian. Then fill cup half full with available cappuccino. The Shell Station on Mineola Pike by Marriot has a great house blend mixed with a "Super Energy French Vanilla" ( how much caff. can we put in powder ) Capp....has got me thru many rough third shifts! :thumb:
March 21, 201511 yr I enjoy White Castle. Solid cup o' joe. However, and I know this is splitting hairs, but I HATE their lids. You have to pull/tear open the lid, and then you have a nickel size opening. Let's face it..you're on the road. You don't want to mess with that lid. Give me the Starbucks/Speedway/McD's travel lid any day over WC.
