Average gas prices are the lowest they've been in about 6 or 7 years.

Word? I blame Obama.

And you didnt stop and visit?

Yesterday in Wilder, the price at Thornton's was $2.69. Directly across the road at UDF it was $2.38.

Saved slightly over $4 in just one fill up.

Day trip to the Capitol (not the one in Frankfort).

Breakfast at 4 a.m. at the 24 hour Waffle House and Dinner at the Dry Ridge McDs.

I am glad CVG still has directs to and from Reagan but it makes for a long day.

Other than post disaster? It's not IMO. At some point a gas price will cause us to change our behavior and stop buying as much gas. However' date=' until then they're in a strong position.[/quote']

What you are discounting is the greed factor. Just look at all the countries now that need X,Y, Z oil prices to balance their budget . Oil no longer has anything to do with supply and demand, we have strong and stable supply due to the North American oil renaissance and have had falling demand. We are coming off all time low demand. A lot of American have either changed habits or can't afford to drive in some capacity.

People have just found the value of oil and use it as a tool/weapon to fuel their countries. Oil prices will go back to 70-80 barrel eventually.
