Extreme weather events on the increase

So your source on this is Michael T. Snyder, a former Washington, D.C., attorney who now publishes "The Truth"? Scraping the bottom of the barrel on this one, aren't you? In any event, do a little digging and see if you can find the names of a couple of the climate scientists who have moved into the global cooling camp. I didn't see anything in Snyder's "blog" that would back up your first sentence.
You post something from the left-wing biased Washington Post and have the nerve to attack any source? :lol2:

See if this works for you...

NASA Admits That Winters are Going to Get Colder…Much Colder

...oh, let me guess, you don't like Chris Carrington either.

BTW, this is where I got the line about climate scientists who have moved into the global cooling camp.

Now you're citing scientific stories from dcclothesline.com? Someone call a doctor. Do you know what dcclothesline is all about? Let me help you. Here are the top two linked stories atop dcclothesline.com's home page: (1) "Is this Michele Obama's weenie?" and (2) "Bill Clinton is not Chelsea's biological father."

I think you would have better results if you just linked to a photo of Sen. Inhofe's snowball.

Glad to see you're well conditioned. Carry on comrade. :lol2:
I don't care what your political views are, I simply pointed out the fact that global warming is a political money grab and that the weather always changes. Natural cycles. Show me undisputed proof it's caused by man and I'll tell you you're right. Good luck with that.

On the bolded, no point even trying, because you've obviously already made up your mind. Just natural cycles. Sure, that's a school of thought.

I'm not sure how global warming is a political money grab. That's an opinion, not a fact. There have been some political money grabs to take advantage of a situation certainly, I don't see this as qualifying.

Again, global warming doesn't mean we are all going to melt. It means severe changes are happening to the polar caps, and the jet streams worldwide. This has, and will continue to shift our weather on the side of extreme events.

I have no problem with you dismissing what I'm saying. We will just disagree. But, I did have a problem with your assumption my original post was politically based. Couldn't be further from the truth.

If the bolded is true then you have some reading to do.

Start with googling 'Carbon tax' or 'Carbon credit exchange'.

Glad to see you're well conditioned. Carry on comrade. :lol2:

What makes your arguments fall flat is that they're not based on science. They're based on angry right-wing websites.

Again - my position is that human activity LIKELY is CONTRIBUTING - not that human activity is THE CAUSE. But per NASA:

Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists agree that climate-warming trends over the past century are very likely due to human activities, and most of the leading scientific organizations worldwide have issued public statements endorsing this position. The following is a list of the nearly 200 worldwide scientific organizations that hold the position that climate change has been caused by human action.

When did physics.org, The Mashall Space Flight Center, NASA Science News, The American Meteorological Society Journal, and Princeton University become a right wing propaganda sites?

Did the science not line up with your political views or did you just dismiss all of it without reading because it is from a right-wing web site?

The following is from a NASA website:

"What has scientists concerned now is that over the past 250 years, humans have been artificially raising the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere at an ever-increasing rate, mostly by burning fossil fuels, but also from cutting down carbon-absorbing forests. Since the Industrial Revolution began in about 1750, carbon dioxide levels have increased nearly 38 percent as of 2009 and methane levels have increased 148 percent."

Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet: Consensus

The Myth of the Climate Change '97%'
The following is from a NASA website:

"What has scientists concerned now is that over the past 250 years, humans have been artificially raising the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere at an ever-increasing rate, mostly by burning fossil fuels, but also from cutting down carbon-absorbing forests. Global Warming : Feature Articles

So you didn't read the article RTS posted. Got it.

Your source is an opinion article. My source is NASA (and 200 other scientific organizations). Nuff said.

(and 200 other scientific organizations, many of which are third world functions that probably get most, if not all their funding from the UN, the same people who back the thoroughly discredited IPCC)

There, fixed it.

Like the IPCC itself, the '97% myth' has been long discredited.
