Ken Griffey Jr, 15 years later

Him MJ, and the Wildcats. That was my childhood.

I was so thrilled when the Reds announced that they traded for him. I wish he could have stayed healthy and set the All-Time HR record. But either way, he'll always be my favorite baseball player.

Good read.

I named my dog after him. I admired the guy as a kid.

First jersey I bought my son was a Mariners Jr jersey back in 93 or 94!

First time I saw him play was the last weekend of baseball at old Comiskey Park.

I had planned on being at the Saturday game. Went to a Notre Dame football game that day and drove to Chicago. Ended up not going.

Will always be remembered among those of us who grew up in a certain era as Minnesota Twins fans as the bad guy from "Little Big League". :lol2:
