Shining Star Sports are currently considering all the options. The problem with the date is that The Bearcat Classis is the same weekend as D2 14U State.

We have 7 13U players and 3 14U players so we want to play in both but we also want to play in one of the bigger non-National events that is right here in our back yard.

Shining Stars D1 13U & D2 14U

I can't speak about the others. But, i'm guessing

Legends 13U D1 and 14U D3

Defenders D3 14U

TeamZ D3 14U

Royals D3 13U

Ampipe D3 13U (If they play)

NKY Rockets I don't think are playing because of baseball.

NKY Tarheels I have no clue

These two teams were also pretty good.

The Kentucky Royals 14U won the Midwest Tournament in Louisville last weekend and will play D1. They won 5 straight last weekend in a good field (Louisville Hustle, Western Kentucky Elite, Illinois Bears, the Ville) and now pick up momentum because Dontaie Allen is now back in the rotation since his Pendleton County Wildcats got knocked out of the regionals.

Heck IDK what we gonna do. We got 3 starters out for state and like somebody said bearcat is same weekend as d2. Just take our lumps in d1 I guess.

I assume that is the 8th grade team. Will that team play 14U or 15U? D1 or D2?

Who all is on that team?

I assume 14u. Dontaie Allen is 14u.

If the rest of those kids are 14u and adding Dantaie they will be hard to handle. Well coached team.

Dontaie Allen is playing state with kywa.

Who are some of the top eighth graders from Northern Kentucky? Who do the rockets have? I knew a few kids that played for them several years back. Austin Trentmen, Eric Reigar, Jake Schulte (I believe), Grant Schriver (now plays baseball at UofL), Parker Keller, and I know several other St. Pius kids played for them way back when (Joe Walsburger, Johnny Thiel, Mark Schult, Parker Keller). Who do the shining stars have? They always seem to do a nice job.

Dontaie Allen is playing state with kywa.

Anyone else want to claim this kid before the tournament starts?

This kid is the best 8th grader in the state is he not? Yes he is playing with KYWA at state tourney. Kid has huge upside.

I wonder how many of the 8th graders are affected by the new AAU rules? Would guess alot of them have to play up this year. I know Dontaie does not but would guess some pretty good ones do have to.

kyle Rode and Marquise Walker are the best two 8th graders in ky that I have seen.

As of now the field for

I am trying to consider what tournament we are playing in this weekend. I have a 7th grade team that has two kids with August birthdays. Therefore we would have to play 14U.

Can anyone tell me anything about Futre, Magic, and Taylor Made? How big are they? Did they have kids that had to bump up to 15U?

Ky Playmaker are you guy's still planning to play?

We are not playing d1. We just got to many kids out hurt. Might play d2 but I really want to go back to bearcat though. We really enjoyed that tourny so we may not even play d2. Bearcat is the same weekend as d2. Gonna heal up and get ready for Lebron ,HIT, midwest youth national
