These uniforms are hideous! takes away from the traditional "carolina blue" That is Boone county!

 

I agree. When I see that sky blue, I think of Boone County as much if not more than I think of UNC. Some traditions should not change.

Only thing I don't like about the picture is where they are practicing at . Be gentle on the outfield.

I think I remember them changing one other year then went back to the sky blue, I think it was early 2000's. I found it odd last year they didn't have any helmet stickers. Was that the first year they've done that? Once I moved to independence I've paid more attention to sk.

I don't believe they have a scrimmage, that team now is going to scrimmage the old coach's new team.

 

Also, I noticed they end the season with Highlands, plus if the playoff format is the same, they could end up playing Trinity in the first round. That would be a tough task for GCL schools.

The only way they could play Trinity in the first round is if Trinity gets last(5th) in their district and Boone wins their district but that is in odd numbered years only. Even number years it could be X, if they are 5th and Boone wins their district.

 

The two NKY 6a districts match up first round every year. Both district only have three teams, so a 5th place team from District 3 & 4 will move to the 4th spot in those two NKY districts.
