More importantly - she is the patsy for Benghazi. She was set up by the Obama's, Jarrett and Ms. Rice. And its playing out.

I don't think America can take 8 more years of a democrat in office and if it has to be a democrat Hillary would be one of my last choices.

I am not informed enough at this point about each of the candidates platforms.

 

And speaking of that, I would love to see a thread on candidate platforms addressing the tough issues.

I feel like America would really like someone other than a Bush or a Clinton but something tells me that's who it will be. I wonder if another Bush /Clinton matchup would do irreputable harm to the two families' friendships. From what I understand the Bush's and Clinton's are very close on a personal level. Barbara says Bill is just like a son to her.

It is way too early to coronate Hillary. We are a year and a half away and every week is another negative Hillary story. I think the Dems are even getting a little concerned. She was supposed to be a lock 8 years ago and a nobody at the time (Obama) beat her. She is not a great campaigner and will continue to make mistakes if she has to endure another 18 months on the campaign trail.

You are referring to polls before the campaign begins. Do we forget the polls that had Romney winning months out ?

 

The GOP has been waiting on Hillary nomination. This is 20 years of planning and sand bagging. Everyone in politics knew it was coming. There is so much going to come out if she gets the nomination .

None of those people are Republican leaders or serious candidates so very poor examples.

 

I always find it funny when people talk about the death of a party. I remember after 2004 the Democrats were dead. In 2008 Republicans were dead.

 

Both proven False. This country is split down the middle. People act like Obama won in Reagan or Nixon type landslides. Which couldn't be further from the truth.

 

We also forget who controls a majority of state legislatures and Governor mansions . This helps shape National elections for years in the future with redistricting and ground campaigns.

 

I'm not saying the GOP will win. But if anyone thinks Paul, Walker, Christie, or Bush won't have very professional and well run campaigns they will be mistaken.

 

I love Paul, his message is what this country needs. I just don't know if he will appeal to the older voters. But I do think he can when over center left voters who don't like Hillary which there are a lot.

 

Walker is proven winner , in Democrat regions and campaigning on conservative economic principles. He didn't run from those ideas he thrived on them and made major improvements to his state . When Walker campaigns he tends to win people over. He won governor in a state that is known as the birthplace or hotbed for Unions in this country , on a platform of taking away their power. If anyone questions his ability they will be sorry.

The GOP's problem is that Hillary will run against a live person. Then it'll be Hillary vs. someone (with warts), not Hillary vs. herself. If that someone is Walker, then he better get a lot smarter than what he showed last Sunday morning on Fox, when he said he could deal with ISIS because he's had experience dealing with public unions in Wisconsin. I'm sure that remark was fully embraced by Wisconsin's public school teachers, firefighters and police officers.

 

As far as "way too early" ... I'm sorry to say but the campaign has begun.
