Four boys games Sat. Girls SUNDAY.

Easy peasey

FIRST: I didn't hear the top half of the bracket complaining because they were going to have three games in four days when they had only moved the Wednesday night games.

SECOND: I guess we just ignore the fact that the girls finals are being played on Saturday night. I the top half of the bracket suppose to be played at 8 in the morning? That seems fair.

The weather has put a hick-up in everyone's game and game preparation. It will just come down to who can weather the storm (literally)!

1-Shouldve changed them all to begin with. Nobody thought games would be played Thursday. I don't know why they didn't just move then am initially.

2- If girls went to SUNDAY. None of this would matter. Boys could've played 1,3:30. Clear gym since money is obviously on everyone's mind. 6:30,8

Didn't mean to cause such an uproar.

I just don't know if this was a consideration at all or not. Don't forget. There's two gyms on Morehead's campus too.

That is not true. If you go back and look at the dates for the boys over the last 10 years or so only one time (2013) did the Thursday night teams have to play 3 consecutive days. That information can be found on Khsaa. I had to do my research as I didn't think the 3 games in 3 days was normal. I understand the weather has put a damper on the games, but I think 3 games in 3 days for 1 team is too much. Big advantage for the top half of the bracket getting an extra day.

I bet you that Boyd Elliott or Rowan would switch with Morgan. And they would also be happy to play 3 games in 3 days. They might even play 2 in one day.

Assuming the girls can play their semifinals on Friday night, I would have played all four boys games on Saturday and the girls final on Sunday afternoon. Thirteen of the sixteen regions are playing their championship on Sunday afternoon.

It has nothing to do with Morgan. Ashland, Raceland and Fleming county are all in that bracket. Those 3 teams you mentioned got the draw they got. Doesn't matter I guess when they play.

From Boyd AD "Games have been postponed for tomorrow. Girls will play Saturday evening around 7:30 with the girls final Sunday night at 7. Boyd County Boys will play Sunday afternoon at 2:00. Boys semi finals will be Tuesday night with a Thursday night final."

As per KHSAA web site toun. dates now is Sun., Mon., (quarterfinals) Tues. (Semifinals) Thurs. (Finals). This with the weather is as about as fair as the tourn. could do. Should be no complaints now.

They could play the girls games in Wetherby like they used to do anyway.

Play all of the boys games on Sunday. And then go Tuesday & Thursday. But really they was only one person complaining that I recall.
