Winter Storm WARNING Wednesday afternoon into Thursday

Featured Replies

You should be ok. Shouldn't really be in the Lexington area until around 8 pm or so. Louisville is forecast to have around 3" on the ground by 7 pm. WKY 2-3" by that time also. NKY, Winchester around a 1"

Thanks

I can't post a new thread on this mobile so ill place this here for now. I-75 south is back up to the bridge. The interstate between Buttermilk and 275 is flooded.

Kenton county schools are closed tomorrow. Which typically means Campbell and Boone will be as well!

Yup. 1st grader just read that on TV loud and clear. He does not miss a beat. :lol2:

Marc Weinberg on WDRB tweeting that the latest NAM runs show a warmer trend through tomorrow. Also show the snow not starting in Louisville until 7pm, and dropping south of the park ways by 10pm.

So looks like we should be OK around rush hour then in NKY? I'm seeing it will start around 6 or 7. Thanks NWO.

I hope you are right. If that is the case we may not see as much snow accumulation. I'm waiting for the release of the morning runs.

Just checked the graphical forecast for the Louisville area. It is now showing Louisville to have almost 4" on the ground by 7pm.

So nky will get anywhere from 0-12"...:walk: nws is reporting all precip will change over to sleet and snow after 2p in nky. I'm still not buying it...still enjoying the coconut oil suntan lotion from yesterday. Smells like victory this time of the morning.

Thankfully I was able to remove all ice from our side walkways before this next batch of ol man winter. Bring on heatmieser...yesterday's Reds game has got this baseball fan fired up for milder weather! :thumb:

Right now I'm thinking 6-8" in NKY by Thursday afternoon.
