What 9th region draw would you like to see?

Featured Replies

Her last game was the most I've ever seen her score against HHS. But you're right. She could! But so could Adler, Leigh, graves, combs, Coffey, or Barth! Again, we can do this stuff all day!

Also, what if HHS makes the adjustments and beats HC by 20??? You saying that couldn't happen?? Holmes staff isn't exactly known for making adjustments. HHS staff is. And the double OT win is the only time HC current staff has ever beaten HHS!

You act like HC is superior to adjusting just because they routed Holmes last night. It didn't sound like HC did anything much different than they do every game. Sounds like Holmes didn't execute.

HHS can make just as many adjustments and actually has more scoring options to go to than HC. Those other options didn't show up in the first game. See, we can do it all day. Why is it hard for you to admit HHS is just as good as HC?? I admit HC is just as good as HHS!

Have you not noticed your argument is always we are just as good as them yet you've lost to them? Highlands is a very good team and very dangerous but obviously beatable, that being said there bracket will be a gantlet to get through hopefully these two meet up so we can settle the "they are just as good as everyone" argument (again). Also one more point the multiple games I've been to and watched Highlands play they have two scorers that's it haven't seen many other contributors as far as points. If they meet again should be a battle

You didn't answer the question. Do you feel hhs isn't as good as HC?

And I agree, hhs is just as beatable as HC!

And what makes you think HC's bracket won't be a gauntlet??? I don't get that statement.

As far as scorers, I've seen a lot more of their games than you. And the stats tell me their top 6 average between 8-12 points per game. That's pretty balanced if you ask me. Do some of them go off from time to time...sure. But the averages tell me they all score and are very balanced. It's funny, when you said they only have two scorers, I was sitting here trying to figure out who you were actually talking about. Because it would honestly depend on which games you saw.

Here's another one for ya. With all the points and wins they've had, if they only had two scorers, wouldn't you see at least one of them in the high scorers for NKY?? You don't because they are balanced.

Adler and Leigh are the only two offensive contributors night in and night out at the games I've seen and without Adler making 5-6 3's that game is a blowout highly doubt she makes 5-6 and other girls make them as well not taking anything away from the other girls for Highlands but it will take more then two girls contributing to win.

Again, you didn't answer the question.

Your note above is kinda funny because that's not who I even thought you'd pick...since those two aren't the top two scorers on the team. So explain to me how Graves made all region and Leigh didn't??? And explain to me how Highlands won all these games, scored all these points, we only have two consistent scorers and have no one in the top 10 scoring leaders in the region??? Who in the world is scoring all the points for HHS then?? Something just doesn't add up. The team scores a ton of points. They rely on two scorers and neither of those two scorers are in the top 10 of the region. HMMMM! My Highlands math tells me that doesn't add up! Figure that one out and let me know how you come to the conclusion they only have two scorers.

But at the end of the day, what if, what if, what if. What if HHS doesn't have a horrible third quarter. Might have been a blowout for HHS, right?? Again, we can play that silly game all day!!!! Why do you think the "what ifs" only apply to HHS and not HC?? That's pretty funny honestly.

I'll let you in on a secret...you either have seen only games where those two scored or you know very little about HHS.

HHS points per game:

Adler - 11ppg

Graves - 10ppg

Leigh - 10ppg

Comb - 9ppg

Barth - 9ppg

Coffey - 7ppg

Made 3 pointers

Adler - 74

Graves - 60

Combs - 33

Barth, Leigh and Coffey all in the 15-16 range.

As a team...HHS averages 7.4 threes per game. So they shot under their avg against HC. Remember the "what if" game ya wanted to play???

No wonder you think its' impossible for a team to make so many 3's.

HC 3 point makes:

Turner - 39

Tucker - 28

Mayhaus - 15

End of the day, you better hope you do hold HHS to "only" 5 three pointers!

Who gives a crap. Games will be decided next week on the court.

:isurrender:

My prediction on the draw:

Holy Cross

St. Henry

Ryle

NewCath

Highlands

Boone Co.

Dixie

Holmes

2 out of 4 and bad! :thumb:

As a Highlands fan' date=' I would love to draw Holmes in the first round and be opposite Ryle.[/quote']

Well you got 1/2 of your wish...best of luck to HHS on that side of the bracket

Sounds to me as if their is no one else in the regionals but HHS and HC so we should just let them 2 decide who wins the region and the rest of the teams stay home. The regular season doesn't mean anything, need to stop harping on the overtime game give it a rest. Regionals add a lot of pressure that you do not get from the regular season and in those games its the team who can handle that pressure and not crack who will win and lets not forget some luck a long the way.

So you're basically saying Holmes doesn't have a chance to win the region? Even ryle?

Who is harping about the OT games. I was addressing questions and ridiculous statements of one person who finally ran out of incorrect info to put on here.

And now likes everything that refers to "let's move on" all of a sudden.

But to your point, there are really only three region experienced teams played multiple games in NCC, HHS and HC and maybe Dixie.

We get it went to overtime it was a close game and HHS is good we get it.

You make valid points.
