GRC and Montgomery Co both came into the 10th region in the 1965-66 season. One or both had been in EVERY 10th region tournament since. That's over a span of 49 seasons.

Wow.

That needs to go in the regional streak thread. that's amazing.

I guess the rubber floor got to some tonight????

GRC couldn't make any shots except the guy who came off the bench and hit like 6 3s. All kinds of missed layups, short jumpers in the lane, and free throws. Paris did a good job the boards.

Paris 2015 = Augusta 2013 and 2014.

Wow. Simply wow.

Congrats to Paris! And whoever called the Paris/Bourbon Co 49th final - WOW!

There were actually 4 that voted for Paris in the prediction thread. I'll have what they were having.

Yes.

I predicted Paris over Bourbon in the District Final.

Jamaal Washington led Paris with 22 points. Jekobi Wells had 20 & Koebe Garrard 11. Greyhounds scored 44 2nd half points.

:eek::eek::eek::eek:

Jordan Menchen's 21 points led GRC. Jyles Anderson added 11 points. GRC had a 5 point 3rd quarter.

Menchen kept them in it for a while. He played great. But I did think that one three he hit that his foot was on the line.

Not to threadjack, but this happened to Clark County more times than I can count this season - either a bad third quarter or a bad second half. Any theories on this?

Paris on fire great win tonight and congrats to Coach Brooks! Fun night of basketball in Paris!

They've been prone to lengthy stretches where they don't score much. Those who have seen them regularly could guess why that's the case, but I would just guess that they lacked skilled offensive players. King & Greene were their top scorers, combining to average about 34 ppg. They combined for 16 points tonight.

GRC made some offensive strides this year, and Braxton Greene was one of the most improved players in the 10th IMO. But offense has been a struggle for them at times. From the update thread, it sounded like turnovers were also a problem in this one.

Didn't we have someone campaigning for GRC being a Top 20 team a few weeks ago?
