There is a special place in hell for people that put animals in this position.

I have to hope that maybe something was out of the ordinary. But, like you, I doubt it. I have a dog who has a chalet of his own outside, but he's been in the garage for 4 days. He thinks he's moved in.

It doesn't say, but it seems this dog had no shelter at all. My Levi, though, is one of those dogs that won't go in a dog house. He's an indoor dog now, but before I moved in he had spent most of his time outdoors except in this kind of weather.

I hope it is ok to post this here...but I thought a dog post might be the place.

I am sponsoring a ~2 year old Lab/Shephard mix at the Franklin County Humane Society. I sponsored him and walked him in the fall and we was adopted. However, the adopter let him run loose, and he was hit by a car and broke a wrist. He was left untreated for a week and is now back in the shelter. He has been repaired and needs a quiet place for two weeks to heel. My place with 4 dogs and a cat is not the right place. I will furnish crate or kennel and supplies if anyone is interested in helping. He is a very nice and affectionate guy and is also adoptable. Please let me know if anyone can help.

If you're trying to make me melt with that photo you've succeeded. What a handsome guy. Unfortunately I'm not in your area, nor are my living conditions suitable, but don't think that I'm not tempted. Good luck with finding someone to take him in, and you're bound to with a cutie-pie like that. Guaranteed that someone near you will have their heart melted and won't be able to resist. He'll likely be adopted on the spot.

The lovely lady is really upset with me because I showed her the pic and told her the story. She wants him now. I wish we could but just travel too much. Just can't leave him or kennel him that much. He is just adorable.

I noticed I can't type....he was adopted in the fall, not we, and he needs two weeks to heal, not heel (although that may be a Freudian slip).

We are looking for a two-week foster....but a new home would be even better.
