Just because there is an injury doesn't mean that a call was missed.

 

Multiple eyewitnesses say the player was completely hammered with no call. I can't say for sure because I wasn't there but that's what I was told.

And if its your kids out there whose safety is at risk by "compromised officiating"?

 

I was not there, so I can not and will not comment on the officiating. If there is evidence that shows kids were in danger, then I would change my mind.

I too said at the very first post, if in danger, call it quits. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count that I seen a no call and a player lie on the floor. If they was in a fight, yes, but I'm not getting this. Its 9-0, what happened that fast to feel threatened other than a rough foul. Maybe it's done different in your region, I don't know. On another site, it's a whole different story than whats been said here. Some one in the know said a player was down on the court, and the coach had words with the ref, and was tossed. Was he acting like a fool and was making a scene where the ref felt he was no help? Lots of questions, no tape yet??

What I have seen, in the final minutes of a game, several players fouled out , and a scuffle break out, a team walk off. At 9-0, this is strange. Lastly, if fans are involved, bottles being thrown on court, threats made, by all means, walk off and leave.

KHSAA isn't just going to let a school walk off of the floor because they didn't like a call.

The KHSAA won't do anything. They will see the walk off as justified and move on.

The KHSAA can't punish the school if the parents made the decision to pull their kids if they felt this ref was over looking these obvious bad calls that endanger these kids. A ref can make a late foul call if they feel like they missed a hard foul. So the ref should miss some games too if they see that they missed an obvious hard found that hurt a player. So from all the other opinions without facts, the head coach and the ref are the only two that should get punished. Not the school or program.
