I too said at the very first post, if in danger, call it quits. I don't have enough fingers and toes to count that I seen a no call and a player lie on the floor. If they was in a fight, yes, but I'm not getting this. Its 9-0, what happened that fast to feel threatened other than a rough foul. Maybe it's done different in your region, I don't know. On another site, it's a whole different story than whats been said here. Some one in the know said a player was down on the court, and the coach had words with the ref, and was tossed. Was he acting like a fool and was making a scene where the ref felt he was no help? Lots of questions, no tape yet??

What I have seen, in the final minutes of a game, several players fouled out , and a scuffle break out, a team walk off. At 9-0, this is strange. Lastly, if fans are involved, bottles being thrown on court, threats made, by all means, walk off and leave.

 

This is another story where everyone has opinions on what the correct thing to do....only those involved and present with a daughter playing knows exactly what was going on. It was only 9-0, but how much time had gone by in the game for it to be so physical and chippy? Doesn't necessarily mean that it was that early in the game (especially if there is a history between the two schools..and i dont know anything about that). I'm not going to bash any parents for pulling their kids off the court if they felt their safety was being compromised due to the officiating....and i'm not bashing the officials here either b/c I wasnt there to witness this. Kids play other sports and maybe seeing how this game was playing out, maybe the parents were pulling their kid from the court before it was their kid laying on the court in pain and missing the upcoming track or softball seasons.
