Lexington Christian 54 Lexington Catholic 44

The 43rd District is absolutely brutal this year with Lexington Christian, Lexington Catholic, Lafayette and Dunbar (plus Tates Creek). When it's all said and done, it is guaranteed that two teams that are currently in the Top 25 in the state won't even make it to the 11th Region tournament because they won't make it out of the 43rd District.

Last I saw he was starting and I believe he runs the PG spot. He has a bright bright future.

Solid player, and did a very nice job against NewCath in the All A. DOES NOT look like an 8th grader.

No. No he doesn't.

You're spot on, but that's typical. Glad some marquee out-of-region games have focused the rest of the state on our 43rd, but this is business as usual up here, not very different from most years. 6 years back we had all 5 teams in the top 20 for much of the year, so three good teams didn't make regional. Nothing to see here, move along. The 7th can produce a better regional field than the 11th, but no district can produce a better district tournament field than the 43rd. And that's almost every year.

Lexington Catholic had no answer for LCA's size as LCA out-rebounded Catholic 43-19. Neither team was particularly good on offense tonight. The game was won by LCA's defense and rebounding. Matt Rose 11 points and 16 rebounds. Drew Trimble 11 points and 9 rebounds.

I saw them in the state All A and at one time in the game they had players that were 6'8, 6'7, 6'6, and 6'5. That's very big for any high school team unless they have Oak Hill on the front of their uniform.

....or St. Louis Christian Academy that NewCath beat, who went 6'6"-7'0".

Welcome to the 43rd, where a seeded District resembles a blind draw district & your gift as a 1seed is more than likely playing a top 25 team coming out of the 4/5 game, LOL!
