April 20, 201511 yr Last night was another pretty slow episode IMO. Really hoping it picks up. I'm with you. I thought this one was even slower than the premier. I'm not caught up (or really even started) on the books so I don't really know what's instore for this season. But it needs to pick up soon.
April 20, 201511 yr Unless my memory is incorrect we have now diverged from the books fairly substantially. I read somewhere that GRRM was not involved with the show this season so he could concentrate on the next book. Could this be the reason for the slow start?

April 20, 201511 yr Last night was another pretty slow episode IMO. Really hoping it picks up. I actually thought the first two episodes were very good, lots of very good scenes. This show isn't Fast and Furious, never has been. Things always pick up mid to end.
