June 24, 201511 yr Supposedly some sharp eyed hyperfan who watched the final scene over and over at slow speed says that just before the screen goes black Jon's eyes changed color. There were some screenshots of the final episode that were leaked before it aired. One of them showed Jon laying dead with glossed over eyes like they do when Bran wargs. But it looked photoshopped and I didn't see anything like it when watching.
June 24, 201511 yr I'm going more with the Whitewalker resurrection then I am the warg into Winter theory.
June 24, 201511 yr The Whitewalker king did look interested in Jon Snow during the battle of Hardhome.
June 25, 201511 yr Major casting spoiler.... Looks like they're casting the role of Arthur Dayne for season 6....If that's the case there's only one reason that'd be happening...Major flashback that confirms a huge fan theory.
June 25, 201511 yr Author I'm going more with the Whitewalker resurrection then I am the warg into Winter theory. I've read my fair share of theories and with my own opinion I think he will be back to normal Jon Snow in a fashion. I think he will be brought back to life in some fashion after they say "now his watch has ended" which relieves him of his Night's Watch duty.
June 25, 201511 yr Author The books are the books. Stannis' story has went further in the show than it has in the books. What else does he have left to do? His army is dead. His family is dead. Melisandre left him... There is a good theory about him still being alive and eventually taking over as the Commander of the Nights Watch. It makes sense when thought out in some ways.
June 25, 201511 yr Author I'm really anxious about next season. GRRM won't have the book completed by then, thats a fact. How much of the book will be revealed by the show? Then the season after that could wrap it up. The show writers knows how it ends, GRRM told them. Which I find funny because they could spoil the entire book series and there is nothing GRRM can do about it.

June 25, 201511 yr One of the things I love about the show is that they really keep it tight lipped and closed in terms of leaks during filming.
June 25, 201511 yr Author I'm sure he has major input as to when things are revealed on the show at this point. Yes and no. He has imput but not final say.
June 25, 201511 yr Author One of the things I love about the show is that they really keep it tight lipped and closed in terms of leaks during filming. This is why I think the actor who plays Jon Snow said he wouldnt be back, I think they filmed some of his stuff for next season already. Or secretly have him do parts without anyone knowing.
June 25, 201511 yr This is why I think the actor who plays Jon Snow said he wouldnt be back, I think they filmed some of his stuff for next season already. Or secretly have him do parts without anyone knowing. You see that him and the actress who plays Melissandre are currently filming a movie together called "Brimstone" some fan theories believe that they may do some light filming for next season in between that and the start of actual filming next month. And that's a good point with some things already being filmed. They could have very well filmed his Resurrection that way it's easier to keep it under wraps.

Christian Today quotes the author telling Entertainment Weekly in an interview last month that it has always been important for him to get "The Winds of Winter" published before the 'Game of Thrones' Season 6 is aired next spring. Martin told the publication, "I wish it was out now," adding, "Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish. But I canceled two convention appearances. I'm turning down a lot more interviews - anything I can do to clear my decks and get this done." 'The Winds of Winter' News Update: George R.R.
